What is this blog about?

"Just remember, the same as a spectacular Vogue magazine, remember that no matter how close you follow the jumps: Continued on page whatever. No matter how careful you are, there's going to be the sense you missed something, the collapsed feeling under your skin that you didn't experience it all. There's that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should've been paying attention. Well, get used to that feeling. That's how your whole life will feel some day. This is all practice. None of this matters. We're just warming up.”

For all those times in life that you feel something should have been said, I said it.

Re-did my Bathroom for under $100 :)

hello everyone :) well this weekend was one of the rare weekends that I was able to do one of my many mini-projects around my house. I recently wanted to re-do my bathroom because I get bored of my room and bathroom really fast LOL. So this weekend I decided I would change the color of my bathroom from a baby blue to a "Swiss Chocolate White". It came out awesome. I always try to incorporate a theme when I am doing something and my new bathroom theme would inspired by New York. I found the cutest shower curtain online at Urban Outfitters that has the Empire State building in black with a white background. *I suggest these shower curtains for dorms because they are convenient and very inexpensive. Now I definitely recommend TJ Maxx for bed/bath accessories. They have the most original frames and table top accessories.

So going back to my NY theme, i decided to paint the bathroom an off-white (Swiss Chocolate White") and the rim off my mirror a chocolate brown ("Chocolate Truffle"). The paint was provided by Home Depot for about = $45 *including paint rollers

The candles and owl lantern cost a total of = $15
The peace sign rug was on sale for $7.50
Ralph Lauren Charcoal Towels (6 towels) = $35
guitar canvas= $12

Finally the only things I am missing are the shower curtain which I ordered online and other street signs and such that I ordered to place on the wall.

Here are some pics so you guys can get an idea :))))

Pumpkin Candles= my obsession
Owl lantern :)

You vs. College, who will win?

animal house

Throughout the last couple of months I have been evaluating my life more than ever. I have a constant fight within myself whether or not I should leave the comfort of my home and go away for the next two years of my college career. I think about if I am ready to accept the responsibility that comes with leaving? Am I ready to say good-bye to the people who are part of my everyday life. This stresses my mind everyday. On the other hand, I want to enjoy a real college experience, the one that throws me out of my comfort zone and allows me to network and create new friendships. I know many people are struggling with this situation like I am, and I am here to say you are not alone LOL. I am going to take a chance, apply to schools that I always dreamed of going to. And when the time comes to make the decision, do it, take a chance, experience life outside your comfort zone and start living your life to your expectations.

Fall's Top 10 Must Haves!

1. My number one has to be the Fall Collection by MAC. I overindulge in make-up because I love everything about make-up. Do not be scared to try new colors like blues and purples because they can bring out your eyes when wearing dark colors such as blacks and grays.
2. The tailored boyfriend jacket is a Kardashian inspired look that I love and have even been wearing since before Fall. This Fall jackets of all dark shades are in especially dark browns and burgundies. Do not be afraid to wear the cool colors, I even have a velvet dark emerald green one that looks amazing with black jeans and boots! This purple Victoria Secret one is adorable!

3. Tweed Shorts with tights is super cute to with wedged boots and a boyfriend blazer :)
4. Rain Boots! I was actually talking to my best friend today that I am in desperate need of some cute rain boots. The weather is always so unpredictable but to wear to class they are cute and convenient on the days you know its gonna be a cold and rainy day and open toe shoes is not option.
5. A black lace dress of any kind is this Fall's sexy flaunt for all body types. Whether it be a flowy dress or a tight pencil dress this is Fall's night out wardrobe. This is perfect to mix and match funky shoes of all colors.

Christian Louboutin
6. Peep-Toes with Bows Shoes are what seems to be hot in the Red Carpet. Eva Longoria's Christian Louboutin shoes in black were flawless and Brooklyn Decker's nude colored Valentino heels brought out the color in her Magenta dress.

Velvet Voyeur
Little Brown Dress
7. The ESSIE fall collection nail polish is amazing! Check out the new colors on the website but the must have one is definitely "Velvet Voyeur" & "Little Brown Dress"
8. The fringe bag is my guilty pleasure of the season. I bought two, one in black and one in a nudish camel color ! They are the perfect bag to take to a party because they are big enough to fit the essentials in.
9. The Structural bracelet and rings, are so Lady Gaga meets 80's chunky jewelry. They are perfect for those nights that you want your accessories to stand out.

10. The essential JEAN JACKET is a fall must have. Especially in a place like Miami where it doesn't get too cold, this is great to wear light with some leggings to class or even dress it up and night with some dark washed black jeans and boots :)
